One person is in hospital in a moderate condition this evening following a fire at a metal factory in Auckland.
As many as eight fire crews attended the blaze at Hayes Metals on Neilson Street in the suburb of Onehunga.
The authorites were alerted to the fire at approximately 8:37pm
According to a report by Stuff, the building was successfully evacuated, with one person taken to hospital with smoke inhalation injuries.
